Random thoughts and the past couple of days

The last three days I have been trying to kill off this growth around my hip region. My method that I thought would work is to go on the treadmill for 30 minutes to an hour a day at level 20 and try to burn just over a thousand calories. I did some reading on Wikipedia about strength training tonight. Why wikipedia? Because it seems to be a reliable source of information. These other sources seem to be fads. I found that doing what I am doing will burn muscle not fat this is bad for a man who is unhappy being not skinny but not sufficiently thick. I am working out hard and eating small servings. Apparently I need to increase my protein intake and that will in turn grow muscle and burn fat. I also noticed in just these three days my mood has stabilized. You know what people with depression need a kick in the arse to the freaking gym. I am serious I am feeling great, "no joke" whereas in Spain one hour I want to lock my hotel room door turn out the lights and hope that I can fall asleep in hopes that I will wake up in a better mood. And then an hour later get jittery and want to go see everything I can before I leave. Continuing with my last couple of days. I have a twelve hour shift in which I try to read, call family and watch a movie to help two hours fly by. Other than that I just make sure no durka durka mohamed jihad enters or comes near the building. Without a clearance of course. I have decided that my next shift I am going to do push ups sit ups and stretches maybe fool around with yoga or pilates when none of the guys are there of course. I would get so gaybled if I was caught doing yoga stuff. I kid you not every guy I know that does that stuff looks like I would like to look not gay of course just in a certain kind of shape toned and healthy and semi bulky. I woman touched my bare chest today. It cost eight dollars for a half hour of pain. I was so sore I did not let my self consciousness about my hair stop me. She massaged my back too. I went once before and felt really stupid because I was not sore and she was weak. Got to go times up.

Afghanistan

This is a little taste of where I am. That is a C-17 that I flew in on once my first time here. I prefer the C-130 it is slower. Those little houses have about six little rooms each that is what I get to stay in. By the way the C-130 crew always say winglets are for Pu#%^&$ refering to the little upturns at the end of the wings of a C-17. Very mountainous here. These look like spring pictures just after rain. The rest of the time picture not being able to see the mountains because of dust.


The plane with the propellers is a C-130 the mission bird as we call it. It is way more comfortable and it breaks down more so we get to stop more. Just wanted you all to see a plane for real men not just a plane with winglets.
The Humvee or Hummer is a common verhicle in these here parts complete with leather interior, bucket seats, surround sound stereo and built 50 caliber machine gun just perfect for rush hour traffic and your occasional case of road rage in Afghanistan of course dealing with the enemy.

Well my wife thinks I am into Lucy Liu but if you mix talent and looks I think Jennifer Connely is my pick. Some people don't take her serious because she was in Career Opportunities and Labryinth but look at the other movies she has done House of Sand and Fog, and A Beutiful Mind with russell Crowe. What do you think of the hair?

my favorite actor

The picture I added of Isaiah Ali and Kale was unintentional but still a good picture. Anyway right now this Viggo guy is my favorite actor mainly for cool points for being Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings series of movies but also for his wide range of movies. He almost always plays the tough guy but he does it very convincingly. For an actor who personally does not promote war he sure does promote it in his movies.

Washington Post

This newspaper did a very honest and balanced article on Mitt Romney today. I don't have a lot of hope for Romney but he is someone one should never count out. Romney will find a way in the end to make a really good showing. I trust the Washington Post to be more honest than the Boston Globe and even more than Real Clear Politics. I like Real Clear Politics for their poll average and their conservative credentials. I don't like them because they have given everyone else a fairer shake than Romney. They seem to worship McCain who I can not stand. Anyway Time Newsweek and a lot of the liberal media outlets bag on Romney that is a good thing in my book.

Turkey

These are some of the things I am missing out on while I am in Turkey. We are only here on base for 16 hours and it is very difficult to get off of base. Some guys that are stationed here showed me some pictures of a trip they took today and it looks totally different than what I expected. Turkey was a desert in my mind before coming here. Tomorrow I will be at my final destination. I don't like it here but there are some good things to see.

This is where I am now. I didn't get to see the inside but this picture was on a picture sharing site. I don't know what to tell you about Spain just that it is different. It is no wonder there are hardly any fat Spaniards their food servings are so tiny it could not satisfy my childrens appetite. I can wait to get home to the land of two pounds of food per meal at good old granny annies. You got to hand it to the Spanish on the architechture side of things. This is some seriously intricate work and it was done hundereds of years ago without modern machinery.

I think I will give it more time. I really need to think about whether I want to deal with this at this time. I Have really let my wife down so many times. I just want to tell everyone out there that I love her for sticking with me despite all my baggage. I want to tell everyone that she might not be the best mom out there to everyone else but to my kids she is the best mom and I won't say she is perfect but she loves our kids more than anyone else ever could and that is why I think she is the best for the job. Considering what my wife has been through in her life up until now I think she is doing great. She has managed to stay sane(barely) (kidding) despite being married to me. She talks a lot of sense into me most of the time I already know what she tells me but the fact that she is always closer to the mark and not playing around with silly ideas really keeps me feeling safe. For the record I love her I hope she doesn't give up on my miserable self. I am close to coming through it once and for all with the help of the Lord and some adoral things will get better.

soccer appreciation for americans.

I developed a strong interest in soccer during the 2006 world cup. I was at work and we watched it for language maintainance spanish being the language we watched it in. I have been thinking why americans might think that soccer is for girls. First, when in a fight who kicks? girls do. Second, the players all get hurt so easy pansies. Third, their uniforms are gay looking to us. I am sure there are many more reasons americans don't take to soccer like they do other sports.
Soccer is a low scoring sport whereas basketball and football are higher scoring. Harder hitting impact slam dunk, home run, grand slam, sack are all exciting events. Soccer however can go a whole 90 minutes with a goal.
What I learned about the redeeming qualities of soccer were that you wait so long for a goal that when it happens the feeling is more singular and makes for stronger more joyous celebration. I developed an appreciation for the footwork involved. To get past a defender without fouling him is a work of art and finesse. Soccer for the most part is a team sport and there is no way around it. Very little showboating unless the player is exceptional like ronaldinho then I feel it is justified to pass him the ball more often. I hope you enjoy the videos of Ronaldinho I found on you tube.

Check out this drumming it is great. I think I enjoy it more than the drums of bands at the college football games. If you get into it you can almost get hypnotized and forget about your depressing job or life or all the other problems you create for yourself it is a great escape.

Chico Cesar is awesome. I think he is interesting to feature because he came from poverty to become a great musician. His music has authenic appeal. He comes from the Nordeste and if I am not confusing him with someone else knows a lot of really interesting older regional folk music. This older music relies more on the voice and requires a truer talent than the modern processed pop crap we are fed on the radio. The old stuff was more to cater to friends and family and made to have a good time and made for reasons other than money. Of course Cesar has made money but who blames him considering where he came from. He enjoys his work and would do it even if there weren't money involved.

Seriously, Mitt Romney is the best out there Dwight is cool too with his lightning fast reflexes, superior ninja skills and thirst for power. I can't see any of the other candidates with the exception of Huckabee bringing honor and DIGNITY to the office of the president of the United States of AMERICA. We as a country need that. How long has it been since we had a clean president? Reagan was clean and moral but the media did a pretty good hit job on him. Romney is someone that is close enough to perfect to go into history as being one of the greats. The best thing they can come up with is flip flopper, there is nothing more unfunny than a stolen line they can't even come up with anything original except him putting his dog on the top of the car. What the hell is up with that? Millions of farmers have their sheep dogs, cow dogs or whatever in the bed of their trucks out in the rural areas of this country and nobody has a problem with that. Romney should get an award for giving his dog the added saftey of a kennel in case of a crash. I also think that should send a message to animal rights activists that animals have no rights they are animals. I am willing to bet they are going to make a joke about Micheal Vick being Romenys running mate. Seriously though Vick needs the book thrown at him. (the phone book) My goodness there are common sense limits about what is right and wrong and this guy Vick doesn't have a clue.

The media knows he is the candidate with the weakest support with his base so if he loses great they get a democrat in office. They also know if he wins they get the weakest republican candidate basically democrat light. McCain will keep on keepin on working with that delusional, corrupt, fat, decrepid, murdering senator from Massachusetts and compromise every bit of conservative progress we have made in the last who knows how long.

This is warrior boy Isaiah with Ali at a waterfall in Hawaii fun trip. We had a great time there we stayed at the Hale Koa and got a great deal on a rental car. We rented a kayak chased a local sea turtle around the bay . I dove down to touch it while it was on the bottom resting. I touched its shell and it did not notice then I touched the fin and the darn thing almost bit me . When I first saw the thing I nearly fell off the kayak . Seeing those dark black eyes staring at me made me think shark for a split second. We saw the Hawaii temple and visited the site of an old Hawaiian tribal battle. This site is rumored to be haunted. We stopped at the Dole plantation that was cool they had mango pancake mix. They had dried pinapple granola delicious place to visit if you get the chance. We hiked a jungle trail and got some of the best pictures of the kids ever.

This is the best pizza place ever. They have a buffet. You can see your kids at all times in this building and there are lots of kids things to keep them busy whilst you proceed to pig out. All for the just around five a person. I love Dino he said his gay brother Barney has aids and probably won't last the year.

I don't know quite what to write about. Here is something Mitt Romney would so win if he had Dwight Schrute as his VP. Why because of Dwight's superior ninja skills. Dwight could get video of Hillary in bed with another woman, probably Barbara Boxer. Anyone else would instantly be killed by Hillarys hit men/women(PC), wait hit women/men(more PC) if they tried to dig up dirt on Hillary. Afghanistan man I still don't know how to spell that and I have been there twice already.
